CRC-P Round 19 — sovereign AI governance for healthcare
DATAP.AI is applying to Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) Round 19, partnered with University of Wollongong, focused on AU-sovereign AI governance for healthcare workflows under TGA SaMD, NSQHS, AHPRA and the Privacy Act 2026.
What we’re building
A sovereign-by-architecture AI governance platform purpose-built for AU healthcare — covering generative AI assistants, classical ML decision-support, and emerging agentic clinical workflows. Aligned to TGA SaMD risk classes, NSQHS Standard 6 (clinical governance), AHPRA AI principles, MHR Act, Aged Care + NDIS, and Privacy Act 2026 ADM disclosure.
Industry partners
Confirmed: DATAP.AI Pty Ltd · University of Wollongong. Additional industry partners welcome — health-system, aged-care provider, or AHPRA-registered practice with active AI deployment. Contact research@datap.ai.
Why this fits CRC-P
- Australian-sovereign capability — meets the National AI Plan’s sovereignty objective
- Direct industry impact — TGA / AHPRA / Aged Care use cases with measurable patient-safety improvement
- Research × deployable software outcome — not policy slideware
- UoW health-informatics expertise + DATAP.AI live-production stack across 3 verticals
